Hello fellow Northerners. I'm not liking this disabling of TriTalk, it's making a large gap in my working day. Anyway, if any of you are on board the temporary TriTalk then say hi & confirm your attendance for the Fri eve bash!!!

I'm still coming - had a bit of a low grade stress today with TT being down. I haven't been able to get at that PM you sent! Could you re-send it? Ta!

Hi Helen, Not sure on actual names that were put forward but remember I asked you to book for two extras, its looking like it wont happen now which is a shame ,as you will agree when i tell you later who they were ! I was also kinda hoping JC would be able to join us but he was having trouble sorting things and it looks unlikely now, unless he says otherwise today sometime ! See you at yours about 7:30pm.

Wiganer had last minute work commitments & he said he was really gutted. A meeting that he had been trying to arrange for ages was sorted for today & tomorrow... sod's law!!
There are two people who weren't on our original list who are coming now which is great (Sam & Captain Nugget's wife Sarah). Hopefully JC will make it too???
See ya all tonight.

Hi Craig, great to meet you, it was a great night, I'll sort the pix out later. Riding in the next hour or two I hope... those smelly boys are still fast asleep!!! I have a feeling they'll be awake soon though ;D Hope you got to work on time. I'm so not used to late nights, I feel like I've got a hang over this morning & I didn't touch a drop!! Nice long ride will sort that out I feel.
Catch up with you soon we hope.

HelenT: I can now see why you were a bit upset at your official race photo from The Vitruvian. Steph said "Ooo, she's pretty" a minute ago (you want to watch out for her)

Oh that pic at the Vitruvian could haunt me for the rest of my days... Bella Emburg eat your heart out!!! Not quite sure how I can avoid looking like a 16stone man while I race??? Maybe that's a whole new thread!!! Thank Steph for the compliment though. Hope you all had a great eve. ;D

Thank Steph for the compliment though. I don't think that was so much a compliment to you as a thinly veiled threat to me. Women, eh?

Hang on a minute, if he's 70% shouldn't he be lingering over Toms picture?

Ha those last posts made me giggle. On a more serious note though... how DO I prevent myself looking like a 16stone man while I race??? Do I need to bribe all of the Sports photographers & get them to put vaseline on their lenses??? I grew my hair on purpose so that I wouldn't look boyish!! However dragging my ass out of a lake, up & down a few hills on a bike & then round in a few circles on the road hasn't done much for me regardless of the length of my sodding hair!!!

Looking at your photos from the Xmas do, I can't imagine how you could end up looking like a man at all?! I can offer no advice for race photographs, I'm afraid, I always look dreadful.

If I'd had a copy I would have posted it for you to see and you could have had a laugh or hired me out as a man in drag. I'm not sure how I managed it, I even wore water proof mascara ;D

how DO I prevent myself looking like a 16stone man while I race??? Can't offer any directly useful advice but I've learnt through much experience that I need to keep my mouth open during cyclo cross races when there's a camera within range. If I keep it closed (attempting my "nonchalent" look ) I invariably look like I'm either passing or generating a bad smell.
