As our esteemed hacker has already posted on this site, perhaps they would like to give us a more detailed account as to why and what they hope(d) to achieve?

If he realy doses have a thing against the BTA it seems strange to close down somewhere where there was a prety active debate about the BTA

If my php skills were that good I'm sure I'd be using it to make money not hacking up someone elses forum knowing full well that they would have backed up the day before anyway. It would be nice to get into the mind of such a person, not something I can understand.
Is it possible that tt could be the first person to have more karma than posts on this forum as most folk seem to want to use their hourly karma to be doing some smoting!

This is done by bots who crawl the internet. The site was compromised on Sunday, not before and not since. Sadly the issue of spam is slightly wider than TriTalk. I suggest you ask a colleague who has never visited TriTalk how many messages they get selling vigra... I think something like 95% of the world's email has been measured as spam.

TT (or anyone else who can answer) - are we at any risk having been hacked eg would our passwords now be known to the hackers? Are there any other personal risks eg viruses on our pc's?

TT (or anyone else who can answer) - are we at any risk having been hacked eg would our passwords now be known to the hackers? Are there any other personal risks eg viruses on our pc's? pc wise the only way they could harm you is by sending any malicious (sp) stuff via email, as ive posted up above never open any email if unsure who its from. other than that if they have hacked it and have full access to the board they can see your user name and password but thats all the info on you they will have.

I know I shouldn't respond to trolls, but here goes...
So speedy (if that really is speedy) - why the thingy did you hack the forum ?
If you didn't intend to cause disruption to TT, why the lurid pictures, inane messages and jumbled usernames ? It just makes you look like some thingying script kiddies intent on disruption.
If your real target was the BTA (or those in control of the BTA) you would have done much better by coming on to TT to argue your case rather than thingying us off - but it seems that informed debate is above your capabilities.
Please crawl back under your bridge you thingying troll.

I think the references to moorland du, monsterman and trek bike are a ruse as is the bit about deliberatley (sic) misspelling things....

If you'd only done 3 triathlons, I doubt you'd give that much of a rubbish about the BTA. I don't give a rubbish about the BTA, I've done more than three.
Don't buy it.

That's pathetic!
In my day, hacking was kept honourable - this is the equivalent of sabotaging the disabled toilets beyond use.
Even Osama Bin Laden had more guts and stood up for he believes (rightly or, more likely, wrongly), which I guess makes speedy the lowest form of human on Earth

So, is anybody heading off to the "photos" section of the Moorland duathlon and looking for someone on a trek bike?

So, is anybody heading off to the "photos" section of the Moorland duathlon and looking for someone on a trek bike? Too easy, Mr Cannonman. These people aren't daft and to think so is putting yourself on the back foot. Cross referencing entrants in races gives you a very short list and I can't believe people who wish to attack a forum would be so silly to make that mistake. It’s just another snippet of info to send people into speculation, post their opinions here so they can have a laugh about it. The things people are saying are making me laugh! Don’t worry about it, let it blow over.

Its ONE person on there own. Anyone who uses the word 'We' so freely is doing it deliberately. Unless of course its a double-bluff, which I doubt.

"we like some..." "I have been..." "we have achieved..."
make your mind up, single or plural, or are you just suffering from multiple personality disorder!?!
If you're going to write a message at least make it consistent, muppet(s).
