can anyone offer me any advice on what cycling shoes are best for duathlon ? ... £100 or there abouts to spend ..... what do the pro's wear ?

specialized do some triathlon shoes for that price, i don't own a pair but i do like the spesh mtb shoes i wear

A quick look at a photo from any ITU BG Tri world cup race shows quite a few of the Specialized Trivents, Nike T-Speed, Shimano TR02/01/050 and a brace of other makes like LG, Sidi, Northwave etc
Don't think you could go wrong from this list? try before you buy though as sizing will be different for each brands

Shimano...very comfy tri specific, easy to get in and out etc.....
...in fact, I have a pair of 43s available......

my transitions might be a bit to slick with a pair of 43's ...... l take 41 !!!!! thanks anyway...... or maybe thats the key ....... big shoes, quick entry !!
