i am up for it.... and the pasta partys WEHEY!!!!! ;D but really be more than happy to host this , with some help of course, just in the process of getting a tent. although i would say, after camping on the site this year, i think the TT village should be closer to the showers and so on, maybe as we go over the bridge, to the right, then just inside the gate to the left, that way we are close to the amenities, can see the runners pass( good for supporters), more space, its flatter, and easier to spot for other TTers upon arrival. duno what everyone else thinks?? IDEA!!! how about we ask the campsite people if we they can do one for us in their big marquee, say we pay a £10 each then bring some of our own bits, all they need to do is cook the pasta and supply seating and hot drinks. private function TTers only kind of thing as not to upset the IMUK organisers. dont want them pinford-IMUK falling out or anything like. but personally i cant see the harm, that we we can bring food/bread, drink or whatever we like. me i would be happy with some plain pasta and some tommy source, a few bread rolls and some cake ;D if not then a TT party in a tent or two would be great.

I would like to do both (well I do eat a lot). I fancy the official one for the all round event experience, and also the TT one for loyalty to TT.
So if poss, please time it so that this is possible.

cant see a bowl of pasta doing any harm myself? considering all the rubbish your gonna ingest during the swim ! i agree in that i will steer well clear of any meat, poulty, or fish, anything high in fibre or fatty, but a huge bowl of pasta even if its not cooked ai'nt gonna do you no harm, but then its a personal choice. go with what works for you best. be good to meet up and have a giggle to relive some of the tension. the night before austria we sat in the resturant at the hotel and had a right giggle, definatly helped relax me a bit. and BTW duncan, i just smited you

I would be up for meeting with everyone. I have already signed up for the IMUK pasta party and being tight I don't want a meal to go to waste!!
I am arriving on the Friday, any chance we could get a road 'decorations' party sorted as well! I already have a few messages I would like to post.

I won't be arriving until the Saturday - but will gladly join the rest of the TTers for a beer on Sunday evening

Id love to be part of a good party on sun night. would round off the weekend. a marquee is a good idea if they will allow it. or we can just improvise with a couple of gazebos (in case it rains). we shoul dbe quite thirsty after all that running
