So how's everyone doing ?? Was trying to look at accommodation but obviously all the helpful chat on the thread has disappeared - anyone remind me of any suggestion/where you are staying etc etc

Nice too I'm at the Ibis on the Prom des Anglaises. It's pretty cheap but they're generally clean and tidy. www.accorhotels.com

I see Easyjet's summer flights are now available.
£79.17 return from Newcastle to Nice. Flying out Thursday 21st June, flying back Mon 25th June. That is so cheap !

Well that was week 1 of the Fink programme and I stuck to it perfectly - NOT! Can't bring myself to do it I'm afraid, it's all just a bit too relaxed. My coach wants hard effort in the pool 'cos I'm so slow. I want to do a 10mph 10k run in January so I need to do a hard run session each week to up my speed. Today's bike ride, with my co-conspirator for IM France, ended up being almost 5 hours from Plymouth to Boscastle and back. Never mind eh? At least I'm having fun! I've squashed my recce trip to Nice in early '07 as too expensive. I'm going to make do with Google Earth fly-throughs and the course profile to get acquainted with the bike leg. May also hire a car just for the Saturday to take a drive round it. Anyone else planning to do this? Good luck all and keep at it - only 29 weeks to go
