Anybody racing this Sunday? 10 miles x-country in Somerset.
Just tried out my new Fell shoes - very exciting! A complete revelation in the mud.
Not dreading the race quite so much now.

Have you done this race before? 'tis rather lumpy and I swear the final hill is overhanging. Fell shoes or not, if you manage to run up that one without once using your hands to haul yourself up then I'll be impressed. Good luck.

Not this year. Left my entry too late & otherwise too busy using daylight hours riding. Just when you can't see where the route goes, just expect it to go UP. Steepy! If you get close to 1:20 you should be happy. Enjoy.

Tried to enter but the race was full. Did the Bicton Blister last week. Good and muddy and something between 10 and 11 miles.

I took it much easier than the 3 peaks Dorset Doddler a few weeks back which was good - that one hurt WAY too much! 3 weeks recovery can't be right..... Hopefully will be back to full training Tuesday after this one. I recommend this to all who live in Somerset for next year.
