I'll come and join your thread ;D Thanks mate, like the avatar. Haven't had much chance to think about the theme this year but seems like a bit wet compared to previous ones of Vikings, Goths, Mongol hoardes etc... Suppose the enlightening literature explaining the theme isn't far away.

Will be good to get some more strange stuff in the post ;D

I'm getting more excited/nervous by the day and hoping this mildness of winter will hang around until Jan! Trust me, you will always regret it if it is a warm year, as everybody else will tell you about going under the ice etc. You'll be forced to do event after event until finally you get the satisfaction of doing a cold one ;D Until 2006, I had to put up with years of people telling me about "THE YEAR OF THE BIG FREEZE". This was an undefined point in the distant past, that somebody remembered and had grown intoa myth. No doubt 2006 will go the same way...

Best I keep some blubber on me then and hope for a cold one ;D
Not that I could get rid of much blubber with the amount I eat anyway....................

I thought 2007 had some sort of braveheart theme - have they changed it?
Ray - the water couldn't have been that cold otherwise you wouldn't have felt a thing!!! go on, you have unfinished business there (smiley wink insereted here - I haven't worked how to do smileys here yet!!!!)

no no no - it was Vikings in 2006.... I've definitely been involved in a braveheart warrior event but they do all blend into one after a bit, esp as I pay little attention to the theme.

Entered my 1st tough guy (Jan 28th) Yesterday, i entered my mate who doesn't know yet. Did Hell runner a few weeks ago, dressed as angels for a laugh. Doin tough guy as Santa's little elves which should be a grin.
Is everyone here doing it?
