Somehow put my back out last Wednesday night. Couldn't walk afterwards. Thursday morning I could hobble about , only just. Friday wasn't much better. Gradually over the weekend the pain's eased and movement has come back. Can now walk okay but it still feels very tender and occasionally goes into like a spasm. For those who have had back issues in the past... Should i go see the doc, or will it get better by itself? I'm about to go to work which will involve a 2 mile walk. Hopefully I'll make it

I'd personally go and see a physio or chriopractor rather than a doc, but yes - better off checking it out.

I agree with Foggy on this - when I fekked mine up the NHS sucked big time!!!! Was in crippling pain for weeks before biting the bullet and going to the chiropractor - one of the best things I've ever done!!! 1/2'd my pain after the first session - 3 later and I was able to cope with day to day life again.
I would also google back pain exercises to get some good stretching & muscle building advice!
