...yesterday morning whilst running in that storm. Had been slogging against a very very nasty side wind for around a mile, t'was so bad I had to 'lean' into it to stop myself being blown off the path into the road. A little further down the road I came to a stand of trees and bushes, which gave instant relief from said sidewind, but with the unfortunate consequence of my "leaning" causing me topple straight into the bloody bushes!!! Luckily: a) The weather was so horrible noone was there to witness it! b) The bushes were dense & springy enough to support of weight!
