Our IT guy has sent 'round a message. He's updating all of our anti-virus software, because "several universities have been targeted in what appears to be 'trial runs' for a much bigger attack".
Sounds like terrorism, doesn't it?

there was i report on 5 live today saying All whats there face, is planing on hiting the money side of the west, by targeting stock websites and such like

Sounds like terrorism, doesn't it? B Nope. Sounds like all sorts of criminal and/or destructive villiany, for sure, but terrorism does involve terrorising people. Are you scared? That's a very narrow and outdated description of terrorism
Anything that's designed to destroy stability and order, not to mention attacks that can lead to financial crashes and destabilise the state economy, are forms of terrorism.
WE may not live in fear of an attack on Wall Street but it will certainly affect most nations around the world - they're certainly afraid enough to spend millions on counter-terrorism units...
