OK, so I've had lessons etc but my legs still drag like heck in the water. Partly injury-inspired lack of ankle inflexibility (try swimming with toes pointing straight down ... see?) but mostly lack of technique.
I know I should spend the next 5 months working on my stroke etc to eradicate this - and I will definitely spend significant time on this aspect - but TBH I couldn't be @rsed to spend 50% of my training time on my swim when I know I can get a wetsuit to do 75% of the job for me and this is just a hobby in my case, not a career.
So .... what brands/models are well known for producing a pullbuoy effect? I may eventually go down the snugg made-to-measure route but do any of the new makes such as 2XU or any of the incumbent brands such as Orca or blueseventy have something in their range that has top of the range materials everywhere plus plenty of rubber in the legs??
