Did only my second ever 1k swim in the pool today at lunch, hardly any stops and felt nice and relaxed the whole time ;D ;D

Good stuff! These milestones tend to be little mental stumbling blocks sometimes, so now you've done it twice you'll soon wonder what all the fuss was about. Next time you'll probably stop even less and then not at all. There's always a goal to aim for, good luck in ticking them off.

Thanks ;D Its been a bit of a mental stumbling block for me for a while now, stops would have been even less if it wasn't for a breast-stroking old lady in the lane getting in the way Today is the first day that I actually believe I can/could do the swim at the Vit!!

Nice one BPS. Remember the Vit is 2 laps, with a short bit on land in the middle. So if you can do 2 x 950m with a "rest" in between, you will be fine. Swim Strong, Paul.
