morning, i am currently working in wellington nz and have discovered the local bike store has a cervelo p3 2006 with full DA for the equivalent sterling rate of 1750. I have a jut feeling that this is cheap but would like to check. Any thoughts?

For that money I'd have it - thats not a lot more than what I paid for my soloist with ultegra

Do you want a P3 though? Does your riding and racing match the purpose of the P3? Otherwise it's still a waste of money, allbeit less money than over here. (And is it the P3C or the P3?)

Make sure it's the right size to, they size up a bit strangely. My Soloist is 61cm but if you put a tape measure to the frame it's more like 54cm. I'm guessing they measure it assuming it has a level top tube?
A P3 Carbon frame over here is £2500 on it's own.

Do you really want something as common as a Cervello? At Clearwater, the next 7 bikes along the rack from mine were all fully Zipped P3Cs. It was almost a novelty to see someone not riding a Cervello!

In the states their quite common. Overhere in good old blighty I've yet to be in a TT with another P3C. It's a great deal if it's a P3C
