Cheers andys and Trot. Looked at the table and quite pleased with my improvement on the turbo. Handicaps will be much truer next month, I think.

Andy do I have to do another 10TT to be up to date?
It won't be as good as the first cos of the adjustment I made but it'll feel truer to me!

Did my 10m TT today, seemed a better prospect than getting raine don and blown about this morning. Managed 22:03 going at a cadence of about 95 instead of the 90 I used last time. Ave watts was 306, so it is steadily creeping up.

QZ, you need to do one ten each month. Your first time will be used as a baseline to judge this month's effort off of. So even if you did it this month (i.e. submitted late) you'll still need to submit another.
Cheers
Andy

wow... take my eye off the ball and it's been turbo madness over the weekend!!!! Great work guys... the league is clearly adding to our motivation. I just couldn't be bumd to get out of my nice warm bed but this months 10 miler was calling and as today was the cut-off it was now or never.... 22 minutes and 47 seconds (flow calib +5) of hurt-box-heaven later and a new turbo pb was mine For a minute I was top of the tree then looking back at my polar diary data I realised I had done a baseline of 23:46 and not 24:46 which cost me 61 points and dropped me from 1st to 5th We'll not call month one closed until everyone has been in touch. Late submission of times will be fine but they must have actually been ridden before midnight tonight. I can't remember what we had agreed to be next month's (starting tomorrow) bonus distance but suggest we call it the hour as 25 miles will be longer for most and 50 is saved for Feb when the weather will be pants. We're now one month to the good in the inaugral TT winter turbo league and things are looking great It is clear that as a team everyone achieves more... I couldn't have run this without AndyS and none of us would have tested our limits quite so well without all the others TTers giving it big ones as well A new tab will be added to the spreadsheet, handicap times will be updated and round two starts 3 hours 32 minutes ;D I can't wait for the 10 mile efforts in month 5... we should all be absolutely on the limit by then!!!!

Andy, can you check the table. I think my 12.47 miles has gone down as Mark044's and his 12.74 has got lost somewhere.
I'll take the 12.74 if you like?

Oh dear.. I think my improved 10 has got lost aswell. I posted it on the 'proper' TT forum as 23.35 I'm gonna need the points as I don't think I'll gain much in the next round as I concentrate more on the running

I'd made a few mistakes but (hopefully) corrected now. www.mile141.co.uk/ttttt(Haven't corrected your 10 time, milesbehind. I've copied Tom's excel chart. I'm sure he'll correct it for the next update.)

Just done another 10TT 19:15. Was on course for 18:40 at 5 miles but had to drop down a gear and spin for 2 miles. When I saw the final time I was pretty pi**ed, a little bit more effort and I would have beaten my pb of 19:10. Mind you I suppose doing an hour threshold sets before hand proberly didn't help. I had planned a 2 hour ride outside, but it's blowing a gale here. I will go under 19 mins on my next attempt which will be wednesday or thursday this week.

Yes of course as can anyone, you'd need to do a 10 mile time trial to set your handicap time. To do that you'd need a turbo and a speedo of sorts, either encorporated into the turbo itself or running off the back wheel of the bike (like the Astrale 8). Then hammer out 10 miles and put your time in here (or on TriTalk when it's back up).

Tom's department, I updated this weekend as I didn't realise Tom had made it over to this forum. It's Tom's spreadsheet, I just copy it to html so everyone can read it.

Hi,
Can I join in as well. Will do the turbo sessions in next couple of days. Just to clarify that I need to do a 10mile TT as a baseline and also a 30 min effort ?? I assume I've missed deadline for Dec, so does that mean my data will start form Jan 07

(I'm sure Tom will correct me if I'm wrong...) You've missed the first round but you can jump in at any point. To do that you'd need to do your 10 mile TT handicap time first then complete the months challenge which is another 10 mile TT and whatever the challenge is for that month, this months is 60 minute distance I believe. You might have to swallow the 100 point penalty for missing a challenge but you can still play. It's all about competing against yourself anyway.

Evening all... just updated the spreadsheet and mailed it over to Andy... Tehenlai... you're 30 minute knocked me down to 6th Still no-one can catch Harry.... Let Andy and I know if there are any more times to submit and I'll endeavour to get the round two worksheet off the ground in the next day or so.... this month we will mostly be doing 10 mile TT's and 60 minute mega-hurtbox sessions
