You're not late, everyone has until the 3rd to get their two sessions done for this month (the 10 mile TT and the 30 minute distance ride). TT may be up and running tomorrow so I've not worried about the league, things should sort themselved out. The web page is below with a link to the spreadsheet. You can download it and add your time but you can't save it to the web for others to see, only I can do that. ;D www.mile141.co.uk/ttttt

I have a problem that I will not be able to post my times until monday morning as I am having my new tinternet at home installed on tuesday, so all I have is the work PC. I will be doing my TT's this weekend. Will I be ok to post 1st thing on monday without incurring a penalty?

38 seconds off, that'll do nicely!!!
I'm doing my 10 miler tomorrow, getting under 25 minutes is the target as I'm knackered (previous time was 24:53). The plan is to hold 270 watts all the way and speed up at the end, that should get me under 25 mins. I'm trying to do them with a plan rather than go out way to fast and hold on for the last 20 minutes.

Did my 30 min turbo this evening, got 12.38 miles. Think I paced it quite well as I held the same speed until the last 3 minutes then tried to up it, but could only go a tiny bit faster.
cheers, Rob

Greetings from Oz!!! In Sydney currently and weather is distinctly average, but moving to Perth soon where it is hot hot hot!!!! I log on to the site to check whats new and what do I see a new layout?!! So some scummer has been hacking?! naughty naughty!
Anyway, before I left I had a quick go at my times again as I wasnt sure my settings were correct. Can I please re-adjust my times to; 10mile TT = 22:50 30min TT = 12.74miles Ta!

Welcome aboard Mark. The weather here is totally rubbish, pouring down with rain! I've updated your score and it's dropped you down the pile a bit. We have a few people who have done their 10 mile time but not their 30 minute time: Haribo, Miles Behind, Tehenlai, Triing to get fitter, RobertQuantrell, Recoi, LewisTri, DaleCanonman and Slacko. Then a few people who haven't sent a time for either challenge: Clarky Boy, DeskJockey, Legs of Jelly, MrsSlacko, Quadzilla, Ray, Teedee, TomW, WindMonkey and Zbouy. I've had a letter from Ray's mum so he's excused. The rest need to submit a time although I guess due to the hacking the date will need to be extended as people haven't made it to this forum yet.

Hi Andy
If i submit the 30 minute TT today , will this keep me in the competition? I may have to adjust the settings which will be to my disadvantage but I've got prevent that 'tyre slip' which resulted in half my tyre up the wall!!! Legs are still sore from a 47 miler yesterday but since today is the deadline to post a second time I'll get my @rse ready soon!!
Cheers QZ

OOk my 30minute effort is: Distance - 10.92 Avg Speed - 21.8 Felt awful about halfway through it, headahces and dizziness after (the distance obviously shows that wasn't through effort but just the leftovers of illness in me)

Andy - I'm a regular poster - just holidaying in Oz, however I couldnt log in with my usual ID and password, is this a temporary problem while the regular site is down?? I presume it is as I had to create a new account, and used my normal/original account name etc. Nevermind...few more weeks off bike training til I'm back home then will re-attempt my efforts!!

It had all been going so well, with the training set up for the 30 minute challenge this weekend then I get another bl00dy cold. Had a go last night anyway and managed 12.47 miles. Really struggling from the off with a runny nose but the target was only 12.5 so I suppose it's OK.

Don't panic! ;D
Everyone remains in the competition, it's very informal! It's supposed to be one challenge and one 10m TT per month but if it's a bit either way it doesn't matter. It's all for fun and there's nothing at stake so keep doing the sessions and keep posting your times and Tom/me will keep updating the league.
The thing to remember is the challenges will keep coming at you so if you leave it to long you'll have a backlog of hard sessions to work through. So my advice is not to leave it to long but it's completely up to you. You can also opt out and then back in at a later stage, I know Tom has mentioned that to Ray, or completely sit out a challenge and take the 100 point fine.
As said, it's just to encourage people to stick in good hard sessions every now and then and have a way of plotting your progress against yourself whilst being in a league against others.

Just did my 30 min tt. The only alteration I made was to tighten the tension on the flywheel cos it felt too easy last time. The roll down time is now only 6 secs but with 8 secs there was too much 'tyre slip'. 30 min TT - 12.4 miles avg HR-151 ( perhaps the hurt box can be found)!! Cheers QZ

hi Tom, just done my 30 minutes, 12.6miles at 25.1mph, ave heart rate: 151, max 160. I enjoyed that for the first time. Did a steady 20 miler in the week which helped me get used to the turbo. Can`t say I`m looking forward to an hour flat out though! Harry.
