How is it all going folks. Spoke to a guy on the weekend who says he has done 10k+ in 30 mins, I laughed hard. He run the 10k in 33.51, OK so he beat me but i was saving it for the duathlon.
10 x 1k intervals tonight off 1 min @ 19, then 19.1, 19.2 and so on.

I've had a few days off. Fitness test bumph said not to train the day before which ruled out Sunday's run then I had test on monday, the Mrs booked stuff to do on Tuesday so today is my first change to train. Honest, I would have done it by now but I was busy. Serious.

Hey just a thought. Anyone fancy an injury-express challenge? The idea is, you do the most macho session your treadmill can handle. Must start in November, mind. Keep it going through December, and the one who needs the most treatments by a physio while sitting out the race season, wins a Spinervals DVD. Aero base builder 18.0 in fact.

Lets do it downhill on the road with a 40lb rucksack on to speed up the injury process then get our willies out at the end and measure them.
Winner gets a spinerval DVD, 2nd place gets 2 Spinerval DVDs

I've had a rubbish week. After Monday's fitness test I had a super-sized ego and three days of failed super-sized ego training targets followed. Pulled it back today though, previous 30 min PB was 6.7km and tonights new PB is 7.12km. Got a month to get another 380 metres in.

Tried twice now and had asthma attacks both times after 10mins running...must be something to do with the aircon? Will try once more but if not then...I'm beat!!

couldn't bear to be missing out on the fun, and haven't had a good injury for quite a while, so bashed out a 30 minute effort last night after all and managed 8520m. My willy however seems to have shrunk from the effort and is now appears to be a mere 6cm in length so I'm going back to the aerobic stuff until it recovers

Great distance, nothing to be sniffed at. Hopefully you are not injured from running ad moderate intensity on a shock absorbing treadmill.
I have not heard of anyone getting injured from running at 10k pace on a treadmill. Road maybe, but not a treadmill.
Still, 0.15 centimetre willy shrink is not a disaster is it?

It sounds like a good challenge. I will give it a go later in the week.
