Can't see a thread for this anywhere, even on RunnersWaffle. Surprised swimmingdunce (Colm McCoy) hasnt started one as he came 9th last year. As usual, he's blazing a trail and i'm following in his wake. Not really up for it but can't resist having a go. It's only £9-10 quid if you enter sharpish. NB. Its on a Saturday not a Sunday. Site page: www.hmarston.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/rhac/trail/rrr.htmSwimmingdunces 05 report www.ultrarunner.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=44&Itemid=134A lot of TT ers I have come across e.g.at Luton have done this before or are familiar with it. Anyone one else doing it or have any advice for a newbie like me. My 'longest' to date has been chasing swimmingduce round at Belvoir Challenge marathon distance in Feb - which was a 4hr affair for all concerned due to the terrain etc.

cheers Doug, but are you suggesting there's life outside of TT !!
Better there's a TT thread to encourage TTers to get thinking about it, who may currently know nowt about it or such events like me this time last year.
I reckon trail running is a definite thing that more experienced or adventurous runners will graduate too, and as tri athletes were prime in the more adventurous category to begin with compared to bog standard road runners only.
