I am in - but have now signed up to do IM F - only 8 weeks later - not convinced that this would be great training so may defer for a year when it fits in better with norseman training (later in the season), which is the aim for 2008. Good to see Larmen and TC from IMCH 2006 posse going for it though.....and yes TC i know you wont think that is an appropriate excuse, but i dont quite have the superhuman capabilities you seem to !!!!!!!

go for it bainsy, yah big wuss might just have to do IM France wiv you too...after Lanza of course. nah i don't blame you if you roll it over, but you've got quite a bit of recovery time and you can spend the aftermath of the race concentrating on the swim and run training, to let your running muscles recover. i think you can defer right up to race day so i'd not defer in haste, see how it goes. it will keep your training and diet extra motivated thru winter too e.g. when your out running, just think of London. likewise when you reach for the cookie jar.

Pleased to see ickle_nick is back in the frame. I sent off my application so my name would be in the ballot, I wasn't actually planning what I'd do if I actually got in ickle nick: but your gonna do it all guns blazing right cmon lets set goals - i've added desired / predicted times to the list. note the two don't always correspond. Larmen Andys triandrun 5573 ickle_nick 14456 (Save ickle nick) gah tiggertrigirl (Josie on tt) p00key HelenT TomW Toyota_Crown (want 2h59 but predict 3h04) Bluepoolshark 9??? Bellyboy Bainsy (errrrm - may be deferring if am a big wuss!?!?)
