Are the national / european / world long distance championships now half IM distance? Not quite - the World (Lorient) and ETU (Brasschaat) champs are O2 (Double Olympic) so 3k/80k/20k The Natioanl champs are at the Viruvian so I assume that is still the 1.9k/84k/21k it has been for the last few years I hope to do Lorient

Is the latest HIM before about September the one in Monaco? Or is there one in August?

I am currently convincing myself that as a first year newbie I can complete the Vitruvian .............
I am up for it.........it will be the culmination of my first year which will also involve a few sprints and an Olympic (either Chester or Salford)....
onwards and upwards !

June: Bala Middle July: Possibly CowMan Aug: Timberman 70.3 (www.timbermantri.com): my 'A' race Sept: Vitruvian
I may or may not try to squeeze in a couple of Olys as well. No interest in IM for the foreseeable future
Steph will be doing the above plus Eastnor Middle and probably New Forest Middle. Yes, she is an animal

Will be doing team relay at the Vit. Would have liked to have done a HIM for training but there isnt one early enough before Switzerland so might have to make one up.
