Just got back onto TT, somehow I had been deleted :-(
So whats this? Something I might like to join in with?
Bushy Park, but where, what time and what?
Lemme know, I enjoyed the Richmond Park ones and should be able to get back on the bike for the first time in 2 months after a shoulder and knee injury :-)

Hey Foggy, are we going to see you down this week? No excuse really, its on your doorstep. Henneke, if you are thinking of cycling down, you may as well lock your bike up with the rest and do the run It's only 5K and no one takes it seriously (well not too seriously at least ).

Am probably going to struggle to make it along this side of Christmas - would like to start attending in the new year though. Got the TT xmas do on Sat night so means I am getting up early with my daughter on sat morning to earn a sunday morning lie in, following week my wife is away so no-one to look after daughter on the sat morning, week after....might make it but not sure. I will be running the course as part of my long run tomorrow - not quite at 5k pace though (not that that is very quick either)

Hmmm, if you are running slowly Foggy, maybe I will join in... was going to go for a 6k slow jog tomorrow am, as part of my recovery schedule, so could do a slow 5k in the company of many others in stead on Saturday...

Yeah... it would certainly be VERY irritating... I always seem to be overtaken on races by 70+ grandpa's however, there always seems to be a fit lloking youngster behind me as well. A kid would be much harder to swallow...

Its funny you say that.... that little chap has been there pretty regularly, and if memory serves he runs a good 21 minute race. He's pretty often ahead of me I'm getting used to being thrashed by small children and old men (in a running way you understand, before the jokes come flooding in ). The point of BPTT is that its for all comers, and that means people that run 14 minute 5ks up to 40 minutes, it doesnt matter. Its just taking part at the end of the day. The only person you have to beat is yourself, the next time

LOL! Well, I shant be attending tomorrow, as I have an appointment in my LBS... having a new casette put on as I dont think my 13-21 is going to do for me in the Black Mountains, where I am moving to at Xmas... Then I shall take the bike for a test ride, loop or 2-3 in RP, after 11 ish, if the weather isnt too foul... so if anyone fancies to keep me (slow) company, let me know...
Was going to do it myself, but the bloke said he'd do it for me... :-)

I'll be there (again)!
Come on Hanneke - come and play! I think there'll be someone to watch over the beast while you run.

He's pretty often ahead of me He came flying past me at the playground this morning and diappeared off into the distance There's about half a dozen or so kids who run it regularly, most of whom beat me although I was a bit slow today, 45 sec or so off my PB
